Lex grew up in a magnificent villa built into the side of a mountain, filled with gold, jewels, and the echoes of arrogance. His father was a dragon of class and sophistication, always speaking of business dealings, contracts, and profitable ventures. His mother, meanwhile, delighted in using their immense wealth to impress and intimidate other dragons.

From a young age, Lex learned two important lessons:
If you wanted something, you took it.
And if you wanted to avoid consequences, you made the law work in your favor.

In that regard, he was very much his father’s son. As Lex grew older, he amassed riches of his own through sharp deals, clever loopholes, and a talent for turning every situation to his advantage. Yet unlike most dragons, he had little interest in spending his life buried in a cave atop a mountain of treasure. Instead, Lex used his wealth to grow his power and political influence.

To the common folk, he appeared vain, egotistical, and impossibly self-important. But Lex would simply argue that there was nothing wrong with enjoying the finer things in life, especially when one so clearly deserved them.
