Neville had an extraordinary talent for getting lost — even in his own home.
One afternoon, he simply wanted a snack. So he set off toward the kitchen in search of a sandwich. Naturally, he took a wrong turn.

Somehow, impossibly, Neville wandered through a doorway that did not belong in his house and stumbled straight into the Void itself — a realm of endless darkness where reality bent in unnatural ways. There, seated upon a throne of shifting stars and impossible geometry, waited an Eldritch Being of immeasurable power.

Neville stared at the creature.

The creature stared back.

The silence stretched on long enough for entire civilizations to rise and collapse. At last, the being spoke in a voice that echoed across eternity.

“You have crossed the infinite abyss to seek forbidden knowledge and unimaginable power?” Neville blinked. “…I was looking for the kitchen.” Another long silence followed. “…There’s a kitchen?”
