The Fancy Quest · Team building & year-end functions
Team building that’s a fantasy adventure.
We bring a game master, the quest and a dice set for every player — to your office.
Your team spends 3 hours playing a tabletop roleplaying game together: picking characters, solving puzzles and talking their way out of trouble. Nobody needs to have played before. At the end, everyone takes their own collectible dice home.

Yours to keep

Never rolled a d20? Perfect. Most players haven’t.
New to roleplaying games?
Here’s the whole idea, in three panels.
There’s no board and no screens. A game master tells the story, your team decides what their characters do, and the dice decide how well it goes.
- 1
The game master sets the scene

“The dragon is asleep on the stolen die. The vault door creaks. What do you do?”
- 2
Your team decides what to try

“My warlock tiptoes over and swaps it for a very convincing potato.”
- 3
The dice decide how it goes

Rolled a 17
It works. Mostly. The dragon is now suspicious of potatoes.
How it works
Your 3 hours, start to finish.
Works beautifully before a year-end lunch or dinner.

Learn to play
Your game master teaches everything. All you need is a d20 and a sense of humour.
- 4The main event
Play the quest
A priceless die is missing from a dragon’s hoard. Solve puzzles, talk your way out of trouble and choose the ending together. With a 10-minute break.
- 5The finale
Awards & dice to keep
Fanciest Moment, Best Teamwork and Worst Luck, a group photo, and everyone takes their dice set home.
Why teams love it
Teamwork, minus the trust falls.
The quest can’t be won by one loud person. Plans go wrong, and the table has to adapt, negotiate and back each other up.

Everyone plays, and everyone matters
The quiet ones get their hero moment too. Each character has something the party needs.
Real problem-solving, real laughs
Puzzles, negotiation and the occasional disastrous dice roll. It’s collaborative, not competitive.
Something worth taking home
Not a certificate: a collectible dice set and a story they’ll retell for months.

Before you roll for initiative.

We’ve never played anything like this. Is that OK?
Yes. It’s built for complete beginners, and most players have never rolled a d20 before. The game master teaches everything in about 10 minutes.
Is this like the famous fantasy roleplaying games?
It’s a fantasy tabletop roleplaying game using fifth-edition (5E) compatible rules, simplified for a 3-hour game. If your team loves it, they’ll already know the basics of the full game.
How long does it take?
3 hours, including a 10-minute break. It works well before a year-end lunch or dinner.
Is there a maximum group size?
No. The minimum is 4 players, and every table of 4–6 players gets its own game master, so a bigger group simply means more tables. Tell us your numbers in the form and we’ll line up enough game masters.
How do we book?
