The Goblin

Fizzwick loved explosions long before he could even walk. Every New Year’s Eve, he would sneak out of his family’s tiny forest hovel and creep toward the kingdom’s grand celebrations, where brilliant fireworks burst across the night sky in dazzling waves of color and thunder. He was utterly mesmerized by it all, the noise, the danger, the chaos, and the thrill of getting just a little too close.

As he grew older, that fascination only deepened. Fizzwick became remarkably skilled at procuring rare and dangerous goods, especially the ones that go boom. He quickly established himself as the go-to merchant for anyone looking for something spectacular, something loud or something that required a rapid unscheduled disassembly.

Most of the time, Fizzwick preferred talking his way into deals and out of trouble. But when words failed him…

Well, that was what the explosions were for.
