The Necromancer

Reginald was known throughout the kingdom for his lavish parties and razor-sharp wit. As an aristocrat of considerable wealth, he took immense pride in his impeccable manners and extravagant sense of fashion. His estate housed a library so vast that many claimed it rivaled the kingdom’s own.Yet among the countless volumes lining its shelves, there was one book even Reginald refused to open.

It sat untouched for years, bound in cracked black leather, hidden behind rows of respectable literature, as though the house itself wished to forget it existed.

But when Reginald was diagnosed with an incurable illness, desperation began to outweigh caution. And so, for the first time in his life, Reginald reached for the forbidden book… and opened it.
