Dan the Fancy Dragon

Dan the Fancy Dragon

Gentleman. Connoisseur. Collector. Dragon.

Every dragon has a hoard, some collect gold, others collect precious gems, a few prefer magical artefacts.

Dan, however, has always had more refined tastes.

Having spent centuries growing his hoard, Dan eventually discovered that even the finest jewels grow dull when you've seen a thousand of them. What once was about value and how something caught the light became a fascination with objects of exceptional craftsmanship, individuality, and character. Then he discovered dice.

Tiny works of art, each set, with its own personality, endless possibilities, and stories yet to be told. Dan was utterly enchanted. Before long, his collection rivalled the greatest dice dragon hoards in existence.

These days, Dan is something of a legend among dice enthusiasts. A distinguished white dragon dressed in an immaculate black suit, bow tie, and top hat, he is known for his impeccable taste, extravagant manners, and an entirely reasonable appreciation of his own magnificence.

He is also notoriously elusive.

Dan rarely reveals himself, preferring to make an appearance only when a collector assembles a truly remarkable collection of Fancy Dice, or when great gatherings of dice dragons prove simply too tempting to resist.

When he does appear, he brings a little sophistication, a great deal of enthusiasm, and occasionally a particularly special set of dice from his personal collection.

For Dan understands something that sets him apart from other dragons:

The finest treasures aren't simply meant to be hoarded. They're meant to be admired, enjoyed, and shared.

Although, naturally, he does keep the very best ones for himself.
